Chinese New Year Raceday – Experience the true festive spirit at Sha Tin Racecourse
Among a host of festivities, racegoers can receive a designated door gift, participate in a lucky draw, enjoy a stage performance by a popular singer, watch lion dancing and meet the God of Fortune. They can also explore photo spots and savour Chinese New Year treats. On the track, the Hong Kong Classic Mile, will take place, promising some thrilling racing. Everyone can immerse themselves in a Chinese New Year atmosphere!
10:30am – 3:30pm: Receive a designated Windmill Fortune Pen* to participate in the lucky draw^
The “Shatin Racecourse Delights Presents Chinese New Year Lucky Draw” will offer 338 Member exclusive prizes. Entrants can participate in the Lucky Draw by scanning the QR code on the designated door gift – a Windmill Fortune Pen – and completing registration by 3:30pm. Don’t miss out!
11:15am: Electrifying Variety Show @ Parade Ring
Exciting news for fans! At 11:15am, popular singer Hins Cheung will return to perform festive songs#! Feng Shui Master Mak Ling Ling will make an appearance to share good luck tips too. The God of Fortune and jockeys will also be on hand to extend their Chinese New Year greetings.
During Races: Live Music by Nowhere Boys @ Underneath Mezza One
Well-loved new-generation band Nowhere Boys will play their powerful music between races to infuse the Chinese New Year with vibrant energy!
From 2:00pm: Must-See Major Races
From 2:00pm, get ready for the three thrilling major races! Experience the excitement of the Centenary Vase (Race 4), Chinese New Year Cup (Race 6), and the Hong Kong Classic Mile (Race 8), first leg of the 4-Y-O Classic Series.
*Available at Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourse before 3:30pm, or while stocks last, whichever occurs first. Pen colours are distributed at random; no returns or exchanges will be allowed.
