Since its inception in 2019 at the Royal Ascot in the United Kingdom, World Pool has been expanding to include worldwide top races from Argentina, Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. And from the 2024/25 racing season onwards, all 12 of Hong Kong’s Group 1 races are run under the World Pool banner.

Fun fact: Romantic Warrior’s (浪漫勇士) win in the 2024 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup, as well as his Middle Eastern campaign in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, have all been prestigious international Group 1 World Pool races with lucrative prize money.

World Pool accepts bets from the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s overseas partners, creating the deepest and most liquid pari-mutuel pools for top races. It adds stability and reduces fluctuations in odds, allowing customers to place large bets without restrictions.
