You and your family are invited to become artisans at the Imperial Kilns. This cup-drawing workshop draws inspiration from the exquisite June lotus flower cup, part of the emperor's Twelve Monthly Flower Cups collection.
Create your own "lotus flower cup" alongside your children in this hands-on workshop. Before the creative session, explore Gallery 3 with our docents who will guide you through our ceramic masterpieces, enriching your museum experience.

- 2:30pm – 3:00pm Guided Tour
- 3:00pm – 4:30pm Ceramics Workshop
Venue:
- Merit Hall, LG/F. The Hong Kong Palace Museum
Activities:
- Introduction to ceramics and the techniques involved.
- A demonstration of how ceramics are glazed.
- A hands-on session to create your own ceramic work (1 piece).
Fee:
- HK$480 ( Including workshop and admission fee for one adult and one child)
Capacity:
- 30 participants (15 pairs of children and adults)
Point to note:
- No prior experience in artistic creation is required.
- Suitable for children aged 5–12
- Each child must be accompanied by an adult
- Each pair of participants (one child and one adult) will receive one set of tools and take home one piece of artwork.
- Your work will be fired and delivered to your address three weeks after the workshop. Further details will be announced during the workshop.
