CoolThink@JC Coding Workshop – Activity Highlight
On 9 June, 17 June and 8 July, Members and their children attended CoolThink@JC Computational Thinking and Coding Workshops for a hands-on introduction to the CoolThink@JC Trust-initiated project. Expertly guided by City University of Hong Kong instructors, they used the “Scratch” programme to create a brand new computer game, from developing the game characters to designing the mechanics and adding sound and visual effects. As an added bonus, they also received valuable coaching in information literacy so they can better identify and avoid online misinformation.
