Parent-child Storytelling Volunteering Training Workshop – Activity Highlight
Members and their children participated in a storytelling volunteering training organised by the Trust-funded Hans Andersen Club. During the session, participants explored the art of storytelling, learning to effectively utilise body language and voice to bring characters to life. The instructor provided valuable demonstrations on engaging storytelling techniques, showcasing how to captivate an audience with expressive narration. Participants also had the opportunity to create their own props, adding an exciting visual element to their stories and enhancing their overall engagement. All these training prepared our young volunteers ready to be a storyteller anytime for those in need.
