In August 2024, Tai Kwun Contemporary's Family Day event transcended traditional boundaries by fostering a deeper understanding and connection between parents and children through the transformative power of art. Inspired by the visionary works of artist Bruce Nauman, Members embarked on the creation of an artwork with light, using words or phrases derived from their daily interactions to describe one another. By shedding light on their thoughts and feelings through art, Members found a creative medium to share appreciation, thoughts, and emotions in a safe and inspiring environment.
