Yuanmingyuan Chinese Garden Family Workshop at Hong Kong Palace Museum
In a special collaboration with HKPM, Members were treated to an exclusive Family Workshop that offered a captivating exploration of heritage and art at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Following the mesmerizing guided tour of HKPM's prestigious exhibition, "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: YUAN MING YUAN — The Art and Culture of an Imperial Garden-Palace.”, children had the opportunity to unleash their creativity by building their own mini-garden models fit for an emperor. Each young artist meticulously incorporated essential elements such as mountains, water features, and buildings into their creations, mirroring the grandeur and harmony of imperial garden design. As each individual masterpiece came together, a collective "big garden" emerged, symbolizing unity and collaboration within the workshop class.
