Join us for an extraordinary wine dinner on Friday, 28 February, at Provincial, celebrating the Legacy Peak Collection, a gem nestled in the historic Xixia Mausoleum region of Ningxia, China. Chef de Cuisine Johnny Pan has crafted an authentic Dongbei menu that perfectly complements Legacy Peak‘s distinguished portfolio, alongside a national treasure performance. The mesmerizing cultural entertainment will continue every Friday from March 7 to 21, elevating the dining experience.
At this wine dinner, Members can discover the estate’s legendary Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from vines over 26 years old, alongside the celebrated Kalavinka and Family Heritage labels (Limited production of 300 bottles), which are exclusively severed for this enchanting evening. Experience their exceptional Chardonnay and distinctive Marselan, each expressing the unique character of their 335-acre estate.
As a monopole founded in 1997 and located close to the imposing tombs of the Xixia kings at 1,246 meters above sea level, Legacy Peak's vineyards benefit from unique growing conditions that have produced award-winning wines for over two decades. Under the expertise of owner Liu Hai and renowned winemaker Zhou Shuzhen, whose 30-year journey in viticulture has shaped Chinese winemaking, and with guidance from Château Ausone consultant Eric Morro, these wines have garnered international acclaim, including prestigious awards from CWSA and Decanter. Moreover, the estate is the only official Chinese wine partner for the Michelin Guide and one of the nine qualified 2nd Grand Crus in the area.
From their gold medal-winning debut of Legacy Peak Kalavinka 2011 to their current status as one of China's premier wineries, each bottle represents a journey of excellence that has captured attention across Asia. Join us as we explore these remarkable wines, paired thoughtfully with Chef Johnny's culinary creations for an unforgettable dining experience.
